How to install FrostWire 5.7.7 on Debian 8.3
FrostWire is a free, open-source, BitTorrent application, running on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. It connects to many different torrent search engines as well as Youtube and SoundCloud. This tutorial will explain on how to install Frostwire 5.7.7 on Debian 8.3.
Installation procedure
To start the installation procedure, first open the sources.list file using the nano command.
root@linuxhelp:~# nano /etc/apt/sources.list
The sources.list is opened. Now add these lines at end of the file. Save and exit from the file.
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib non-free deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian jessie main
Next execute the command to update the apt sources-list in the target system.

Once the package has been installed click the activities window and type the frostwire package name in the search bar and run the application.
Wasn' t that an easy installation procedure? Frostwire application unlike the other BitTorrent clients presents the results within the application and not in the web browser.
