To install mtPaint Graphic Editor on Ubuntu
mtPaint is an open-source and cross-platform painting application which was initially built for creating icons, pixel based artworks and also for digital photo manipulation. Apart from this, mtPaint can also be used for editing indexed palette. Installing mtPaint on Ubuntu is quite easy, and this article sheds light on it.
Installing mtPaint Graphic Editor
Before you begin the installation, make sure you update your system with the following command.

In order to install mtPaint Graphic Editor, it is required to install certain dependencies in your system. So, add them to your machine by using the following command.
