How to install Power Commands in Ubuntu
To install Power Commands in Ubuntu
Power Commands is a graphical front end tool for Linux systems. It allows the system administrator to create some power tasks like Shutdown, Restart, Logout and Hibernate in an easy manner. Installation of Power Commands in Ubuntu is explained in this article.
Installation of Power Commands
First add the PPA repository to install the power commands.
root@linuxhelp:~# add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao

Open the installed application through the Unity dashboard. Type shutdown in the search bar, click and drag it to the Unity dash.
Search for restart option and drag it to the unity dash.
Then search for logout option and make it as shortcut.
Finally make shortcut for the hibernate option in the unity dash.
Now you can able to see the created shortcuts for power buttons in the Unity dashboard.
