How to install Tintii in Ubuntu

To install Tintii in Ubuntu

Tintii is a free-ware Photoshop plugin, standalone photo filter application. It permits the users to add black and white effects on photos, without the use of complicated software. Installation of Tintii in Ubuntu is explained.

 

To install Tintii

Run the following command to add the necessary packages.

user1@linuxhelp:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dhor/myway 
[sudo] password for user1:

Press [ENTER] to continue or ctrl-c to cancel adding it

Next, update the source list by running the following command.

user1@linuxhelp:~$ sudo apt-get update

Then start installing Tintii.

user1@linuxhelp:~$ sudo apt-get install tintii

After installing the package, type Tintii in the terminal and hit enter to open the package.

Select and start editing the image by using channel mixer.

To uninstall Tintii

Run the following command, to remove Tintii.

user1@linuxhelp:~$ sudo apt-get remove tintii 
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  libwxbase3.0-0v5 libwxgtk3.0-0v5
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  tintii
