How to install Tor Browser on Ubuntu 17.04
Tor browser is a software that is used for anonymous browsing to remain untraceable while using internet. Tor is a kind of proxy browser, which will be connected to the Tor network to browse the web anonymously. Tor software will protect the user by bouncing the target' s communications around a different network all around the world to remain anonymous and to keep a low profile for anyone conducting network surveillance or traffic analysis. This tutorial covers the installation procedure of Tor Browser on Ubuntu 17.04.
Installation procedure
To start the installation process, download the package for Tor from its official website and use the below wget command to download tor package for the target 64-bit machine.

The package has been downloaded in the target system. Now extract the downloaded package by using tar command.

After extracting the package, move to the extracted directory and execute a script file from non-root user to start Tor browser.
root@linuxhelp1:~# cd tor-browser_en-US/ root@linuxhelp1:~/tor-browser_en-US# ls Browser start-tor-browser.desktop user1@linuxhelp1:~/tor-browser_en-US$ ./start-tor-browser.desktop Launching ' ./Browser/start-tor-browser --detach' ...
Now the Tor browser is successfully installed in the target system. Click Connect option to connect to Tor Network.
The Tor browser application is connecting to the Tor network successfully.
The Tor browser is running successfully. Now the user can search the internet anonymously.
