To install Vidcutter in Ubuntu 17.04
VidCutter is a free and open source video editor software that lets you to trim and edit various video files with different format. The recent Vidcutter version is 3.5.0 and it could be compared to the likes of Openshot. Hence its not a complicated app to use, with minimal features compared to the more advanced editors.
Installing Vidcutter on Ubuntu
Before you begin with the installation of Vidcutter on your Ubuntu machine, make sure you add the necessary repositories as follows.

The AppImage was built on a bare bones Trusty machine and tested to ensure all is working. Once it is done, update the newly added repositories as follows.

It was a simple installation procedure, and using VidCutter is also as simple as its installation.
