RAM is a form of computer data storage, which is located on the motherboard.
Random Access Memory is a volatile memory for storing digital data. It lost the stored information, when the computer has restarted or turned off. RAM consists of two types including dynamic RAM and static RAM. DRAM stores each bit of data in an individual capacitor within an integrated circuit. SRAM uses bi-stable latching circuitry to store each bit. The static RAM provides better performance than dynamic RAM.
