To install Go For It in Ubuntu

“ Go For It &ndash To-Do List Application” is an open source software which is completely free. Installation of Go for it is explained in this manual.

To install Go For It

Add the required PPA repository for installing " Go for it" .

user1@linuxhelp:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mank319/go-for-it

Type Go for it to launch it from the terminal.

Select the type of list to be added.

Click on timer to set time framer for the tasks.

Click start to view the settings.

I can't see in the screen shots any calendar. So does it mean with the app you can only plan for the current day?

GTD idea is to keep lists of tasks for contexts (@home, @errands, @internet...) and every time pick the most usefull task for actual contexts.
Calendar events are solved separately.

how to launch the application?

Once the installation is complete you can open the application from the application menu as shown

Does it have a Stop clock ?
A
No It doesn't have that feature

Can I assign multiple task at same time ?

Yes you can untill you close the application the timer will run on background

Pop up options cannot be seen anywhere in the current version of the application
