FAQ
Q
How can I track my shipment online?
A
You can track your shipment at any time using the Find Shipment tool on the bottom left of your screen. Simply enter your booking, bill of lading (B/L), or container number, which you can find in the documentation you have already received from ZIM. Make sure you enter each number without spaces.
A container number consists of 4 letters and 7 digits.
Example: ZIMU1234567
A B/L number consists of 7 letters followed by several digits.
Example: ZIMUHFA12345
Q
Can I change the colors used for links, underline etc?
A
Yes. Copy "/usr/share/zim/style.conf" to "~/.config/zim/" and edit as you see fit. See the Config Files page for the syntax of this file.
Q
Can I have encrypted notebooks?
A
Zim notebooks do not support encryption or password protection natively. However you can use for example encfs to encrypt your notebooks.
Q
What is the hidden .zim folder in my notebook folder?
A
The hidden .zim folder contains only caches and GUI state. It doesn't contain any information that can not be recreated on the fly.
Q
How do I change the font size of the side pane?
A
You can change this by modifying the gtkrc file, see Config Files for details.
