EPEL provides add on packages for Linux distributions like Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Oracle Linux and Scientific Linux. EPEL is available as RPM Package Manager. EPEL (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux) offers packages like networking, sys admin, programming, monitoring, etc that are maintained by Fedora repo. The open source software packages are to be installed through Yum.
