USB is a plug and play storage device. Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a storage device which uses flash memory. It can be used by a computer to interact with peripheral devices. When the USB device is connected to a computer, due to its plug and play interface, it is recognized by the computer’s Operating System as a removable device. USB is not Platform dependent and it doesn’t require rebooting once attached to a computer. There are several USB devices that come with password protection for secure transaction of information.
