PivotX is a Free and Liberal Open Source Software (FLOSS)(a blog software) written on PHP using either a database or flat files to store content. This software is free software and is hence under GNU GPL 2.0 license. This software uses TinyMCE editor and Smarty web template systems to handle several blogs, with its own configurations and themes. Users can manage and edit their privileges in different levels and can add new functions via extensions managed by admin interface. The current, full-fledged, Pivot4 is built on Symfony2 framework (a PHP web application framework and a set of reusable PHP libraries and components, published as FLOSS based on MIT license) , and its lightweight CMS "Bolt" is build upon Silex framework (a micro web framework written of PHP language, based on Twig[as template engine], Symfony, and Doctorine[for database abstraction] based on MIT Licence). This software is currently no longer developed.
