Q

What is Local and International CallBack Service on Issabel?

A

Local and International CallBack is a service that allows local mobile phone or overseas fixed line or mobile phone users to make calls by triggering a call back to their phones. Users with free incoming call plans will thus save on the local air-time charges.

Q

What is Callback on issabel?

A

A callback will hang up on the caller and then call them back, directing them to the selected destination. This is useful for reducing mobile phone charges as well as for other applications. Outbound calls will proceed according to the dial patterns in Outbound Routes. Generally you would point to the callback from an IVR or directly from an inbound route. Any module of your PBX can route the call to this destination.

Q

What is meant by Number Prepend in call back on Issabel?

A

you can define any prepend to be added to the caller's callback number. This is useful, for example, if you want to make the system use a specific route that only looks for a certain prepended number in the dial pattern, such as "9."

Q

What is Callback Queue?

A

The queue to place the caller into when they are called back. The default is to route the caller into the same queue they came from. You can also select a different queue or virtual queue from the drop-down menu.

Q

What are the different type of call back?

A

Delay Before Callback

You can set a delay, in seconds, for how long to wait before calling back the caller. Leaving it blank will default to “No Delay.”

Destination after Callback

Where to send the caller after the system calls them back. The call proceeds as if the caller had just called in and reached this destination.
