Installation Procedure

Change the directory to Apache’s Document root directory

root@linuxhelp:~# cd /var/www

Create a directory for Anchor

root@linuxhelp:/var/www# mkdir anchor

Change the directory to anchor Cms

root@linuxhelp:/var/www# cd anchor/

Download Anchor CMS using wget as follows

Rename the anchor directory to final

root@linuxhelp:/var/www/anchor# mv anchor-cms-0.12.7 final

Change the directory to final

root@linuxhelp:/var/www/anchor# cd final/

Assign Ownership permissions to the final directory.

root@linuxhelp:/var/www/anchor/final# chown -R www-data. ./

Assign Writable permissions to the final directory.

Create a customised configuration file for Anchor CMS
