To install Fotoxx in Debian 8.3

Fotoxx is a free and open-source image editor for Linux. Fotoxx is an easy-to-install tool, and we have already covered the installation of Fotoxx on Ubuntu. In this tutorial, you will be briefed about the installation of Fotoxx in Debian.

Installing Fotoxx

To begin with your installation, you should add the repo on apt source list. Use the following command for the same purpose.

root@linuxhelp:~# nano /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian jessie main

Once it is done, update the apt source by using apt-get update command as follows.

root@linuxhelp:~# apt-get update

Now all is set for the installation of Fotoxx. Make use of apt-get install command for the same purpose.

  gphoto2 rawtherapee gimp-ufraw

Fotoxx has been successfully installed. Use your activities search bar to view and access Fotoxx by choosing the Fotoxx icon.
