How to install Fractgen in Ubuntu
To install Fractgen in Ubuntu
Fractgen is an open source software used to generate fractals in Linux systems. It enables the users to zoom-in and save the image parameters as XML files. Users can also export calculated images as PNG files. Installation of Fractgen in Ubuntu is explained in this article.
Installation of Fractgen
Before installing Fractgen, add the repository by using the following commad.
root@linuxhelp1:~# add-apt-repository ppa:dreibh/ppa
This is Thomas Dreibholz' s software repository. It contains the following packages:

Enter fractgen on the terminal to view the Fractgen software.
If you want to see different fractgen, change the values in the configuration.
After changing the values, different shape fractgen will display as shown below.
To uninstall Fractgen package
For removing the fractgen, run the below command.
root@linuxhelp1:~# apt-get remove fractgen -y
