To install FreeFileSync on Ubuntu 17.04
FreeFileSync is an open source and cross platform program used for file synchronization. FreeFileSync works by comparing one or multiple folders on their content, date or file size and subsequently synchronizing the content according to user-defined settings. The installation of FreeFileSync on Ubuntu is covered in this article.
Installing FreeFileSync
Before initiating the installation process, make sure you add the necessary repo to your system. Use the following command for the same purpose.
root@linuxhelp1:~# add-apt-repository ppa:eugenesan/ppa
This repository contains collection of customized, updated, ported and backported
packages for two last LTS releases and latest pre-LTS release.
Packages for older releases relocated to ppa:eugenesan/archive or deleted.
