How to install j Album in Debian 8.3

j Album is a shareware, cross-platform application to create professional, web-based photo albums. It contains paid-for photo-sharing service which can be used to publish them. It uses less RAM memory for larger albums. This tutorial explains the installation procedure of jAlbum on Debian.

Installation procedure

To start with the installation process, download the installation package using the wget command and execute the command.

Next run the dpkg command to install the download j Album deb file in the target system.

Once the package is installed, open the activities window and type the j Album package. Click on the icon to run the application. jAlbum

Wasn' t that an easy installation procedure? The jAlbum also offers galleries based on standard HTML designs, AJAX slideshows and Flash based image viewers.
