KDE’ s Plasma Media Center is used to explore music, images and watch videos on various devices that supports KDE software. Installation of KDE Plasma Media center is explained in this tutorial.

Open the Ubuntu Software center using the Unity dash.
In the search bar, type plasma and it will display the Plasma Media Center.
Click install to download and install the Plasma Media center
Once the Plasma Media Center is installed, a shortcut will be created in the Launcher and then open the plasma media center.
Start viewing all the media files in the system. Play your favourite tracks, view images and play videos.
