To Install KdenLive on Linux Mint 20

Introduction:

Kdenlive is an open-source video editing application that is a cross-platform package applicable for all major OS including Linux, Microsoft Windows, macOS, etc. It was first developed by a small team in the year 2003 but now it's becoming a licensed video editing software. In this tutorial, we will cover the installation of KdenLive on Linux Mint 20.

Installation Procedure:

First, check the version of the Linux mint version by executing the following command

root@LinuxHelp:~# lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID:	Linuxmint
Description:	Linux Mint 20
Release:	20
Codename:	ulyana

Now add the KdenLive repository by using the PPA

root@LinuxHelp:~# add-apt-repository ppa:kdenlive/kdenlive-stable

 More info: https://launchpad.net/~kdenlive/+archive/ubuntu/kdenlive-stable

once the repository is add then update the packages by using the following command

root@LinuxHelp:~# apt-get update

Once the update is completed. Install the kdenlive application by executing the following command

Once the installation is completed. Open the KdenLive application snap1 **This is the console of KdenLive ** snap2 The KdenLive version is 20.12.0 snap3 With this method, the installation of KdenLive on Linux Mint 20 is comes to an end.
