To install LibreCAD on Ubuntu 18.04

LibreCAD is a free computer-aided design application for 2D design. It’s available for all major operating system such as Linux, Microsoft windows and mac os.

Installation

update your system repository

root@linuxhelp:~# apt-get update
Hit:1 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic-security InRelease
Hit:2 http://in.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic InRelease
Hit:3 http://ppa.launchpad.net/ondrej/php/ubuntu bionic InRelease
Hit:4 http://in.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic-updates InRelease
Hit:5 http://in.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic-backports InRelease
Reading package lists... Done

Now, finally install the librecad application.

root@linuxhelp:~# apt-get install librecad

After installation open the Ubuntu menu, then type LibreCAD form search box, application show on the screen. Now, open that application. Here you can see welcome page of l LibreCAD. 2
