How to install LMMS on Ubuntu
LMMS is a free and cross-platform music creation application similar to FL Studio in functionality. Using LMMS you can produce and remix music. It comprises of a song editor for composing, a bassline editor, a tool for editing melodies and patterns, an FX mixer, and numerous other music features. You can install LMMS on your Ubuntu machine with few simple steps by referring this tutorial.
To install LMMS
Download the LMMS installation package by invoking the following command.

Once the package is downloaded, you can install it by running the following command.
root@linuxhelp:/home/user1# dpkg -i lmms_1.0.0+stable-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb

Here you can note the dependency problem which aroused during the installation procedure. In order to solve it, run the following command.

LMMS has been installed. Open the application by searching it through Ubuntu dashboard and launch it.
You can do a few general settings.
Choose Project --> New to create new project and to produce or remix music.
