To install Moria on Ubuntu 17.04

Moria is a computer game based on the famous novel - The Lord of the Rings. Moria is a single player dungeon simulation game in which the player can choose a character from a number of races and classes when a character is created. The created character is run for over a period of time, ranging from days to months. This tutorial covers the installation procedure of Moria on Ubuntu 17.04.

Installation procedure

To proceed with the installation procedure, add the required repo in Ubuntu default repository path by executing the vim editor and make the following changes in the file. Save and exit the file.

root@linuxhelp:~# vim /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial main universe

The repo is added to the file successfully. Update the target system by executing the apt-get update command.

root@linuxhelp:~# apt-get update

The application is added to the target system. To run the application, type the moria in the Ubuntu dashboard and click on the icon to run the application.

On Ubuntu just try "apt install moria" first - I did not have to follow any special instrucutions - it just worked
