To install Multiload Indicator on Ubuntu 17.04

Multiload Indicator is an open source application used to monitor and represent the system performance. It graphically depicts the usage of CPU & RAM, Swap, Network traffic and Load. Multiload indicator displays only one graphic processor as default. Users can customize the indicator and colors of the graphs on the panel. This tutorial covers the installation of Multiload Indicator on Ubuntu 17.04.

Installation procedure

To proceed with the installation procedure, add the required repository by executing the following command.

root@linuxhelp:~# add-apt-repository ppa:indicator-multiload/stable-daily
 Contains stable versions of the system load indicator.
 More info: https://launchpad.net/~indicator-multiload/+archive/ubuntu/stable-daily
Press [ENTER] to continue or ctrl-c to cancel adding it

The repositories are added to the system. Update the system by running the apt-get update command.

The application is installed successfully. Type the application name in the Ubuntu dashboard and click on the icon to run the application.
