How to install PileMd note app on Ubuntu 16.04

PileMd is a markdown note app with a markdown editor, comfortable notes and local file syncing. It contains RichText editor, undo/redo histories, completion of lists and keymaps. It also contains markdown notes that can be created into Racks or folders with drag and drop option. This article will explain the installation of PileMd note app on Ubuntu 16.04.

Installation procedure

To start with the installation procedure, download the Package from its official website using wget command followed by the download link.

After downloading the package, extract the contents of the package by running the unzip command.

Move the prompt to the PileMd directory .

root@linuxhelp2:~# cd PileMd-linux-x64/

Run the following ./PileMd command to start the PileMd application.

root@linuxhelp2:~/PileMd-linux-x64# ./PileMd

The PileMd application is running successfully in your system.
PileMd

Now you can edit and customize the changes to the notes in PileMd.
