To install Trigger Rally on Debian 8.3

Trigger Rally is an open source single player 3D racing game for Linux and Windows. It is so simple to install Trigger Rally and this article covers the installation process of Trigger Rally on Debian 8.3

Installing Trigger Rally

Make sure you add the repo for Trigger Rally in your system, before you begin with the installation process. Make use of the following command to open the sources.list file on which the repo is to be added.

root@linuxhelp:~# nano /etc/apt/sources.list


Once the file is open, add the following lines at end of the file.

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian jessie main

After adding the line, then save and exit from the file


Once it is done update the apt sources-list by invoking the following command.

root@linuxhelp:~# apt-get update

Now is the time to install the Trigger Rally package. Run the following command to install it.

Once the package is installed, use your Activities search bar to find and launch the app.

Wasn' t that a simple installation process? Playing Trigger Rally is also very simple. It contains 3D rally simulation with a great physics engine for drifting, over 140 maps and different terrain materials including dirt, asphalt, sand, ice etc.Also it lets you set weather conditions and light and fog, a feature which sets it apart from similar rallying games.
