To install Wavebox on Ubuntu 17.04

Wavebox Email Client (formarly known as Wmail), is an open-source mail client that allows you to access the different online services such as email, collaboration tools, etc all in one dashboard. This includes Gmail, Google Inbox, Outlook, Office 365, Slack, Trello & more. Wavebox let’ s you bring all your web communication tools together for faster, smarter working. It supports extra services provided such as storage, calendars and task management. It also provides a sleep feature on any account and run in background.This tutorial covers the installation procedure of Wavebox on Ubuntu 17.04.

Installation procedure

To proceed with the installation procedure, install the gdebi installer to install the debian file by running the following command.

root@linuxhelp:~# apt install gdebi

Now download the Wavebox application from its official site by executing the wget command followed by the download link.

root@linuxhelp:~# wget https://github.com/wavebox/waveboxapp/releases/download/v3.1.16/Wavebox_3_1_16_linux_x86_64.deb

The package has been downloaded. Now to install Wavebox, use gdebi installer to install Wavebox in the target system.

The application is installed in the system. Type the application name in the Ubuntu dashboard and click on the icon to run it.

The application is running and now it will ask for license agreement. To Agree the conditions, just click accept option.

The Wavebox application is launched and now you can use any mail client with ease.
