Linux Lite 3.6 lightweight Distro released with score of new features

Linux Lite is one of the most widely used distro in the sea of Linux Distros. For it is known to be lightweight and beginner-friendly working interface.

The developers created Linux Lite 3.4 with Ubuntu 16.04.2 base and Linux kernel 4.4. The list of important features are offline search engine for the Help Manual, Arch theme for Mozilla Thunderbird. Lite upgrade and Lite welcome have some minor GUI and code changes.

It also contains custom kernel available for versions 3.13 and 4.12, Firefox 55.0.2, Thunderbird 52.2.1, LibreOffice 5.1.6.2, VLC 2.2.2 and much more.

Some of the other notable changes are themes of the Linux Lite, less number of PPA and indicator plugins. So if you are looking for a change in your Linux system, Linux Lite is game for the change.

Resolution: VGA, DVI or HDMI
MEDIA: DVD drive or USB port for the ISO image.

Boot the Linux lite OS and Click Start Linux Lite option to start with the installation.

Will the DVDs contain Chapters?

Yes, the DVDs will be thoroughly chaptered. Though it is too early in the process to say for sure in most cases each exercise will have its own chapter.
