I can't view .ICO Format in the save as DropDown list of Adobe PhotoshopCS6

I have installed ico format in Adobe Photoshop cs6 .While creating the file ,I have given the pixels  of the image and wanted to save in as a .ico format but the format hasn't been shown in the dropdown list .But i am certain that i have installed and pl;aced the ico format file in the drop down list.But the format is showing up in the open option but not in the save as option.How to rectoify this issue?

While Creating a new file or saving  an image ,The image pixels should be in the range of 256*256.
If the pixel range gets increased ,then it will not be showing up in the save as option
Make sure the image pixels range  is of 256*256
