hi after installation of squid proxy server on centos when it try to start squid i got below error.
WARNING: Could not determine this machines public hostname. Please configure one or set &#39 visible_hostname&#39 .
please guide me to solve this issue....

dont worry it not a big issuse you just add your hostname in squid.conf file at any point of the file and restart the squid service. just add the below syntax on that configuration file as shown below.

visible_hostname  yourhostname.com
