BleachBit

BleachBit is an open source tool that will free cache, delete cookies, clear internet history, shred temporary files, delete logs, and discard junk. It is written in Python language and uses PyGTK. It wipes clean of applications temporary files that take up the memory space. It also includes features like shredding files to prevent recovery, wiping free disk space to erase the trace of the deleted applications.
