CodeIgniter is an open-source web framework, for building dynamic web sites with PHP. CodeIgniter is based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) development pattern. PHP is a server-side scripting language for building dynamic web-based applications. It offers rich libraries is located in the system/library, simple interface and logical structure to access these libraries, plug-ins, helpers and some other resources which solve the complex functions of PHP. It supports PHP and MySQL.
