ImageJ

Due to its open architecture, ImageJ can be extended further with the aid of Java plugins and record-able macros. By using ImageJ’s built-in editor along with a Java compiler, it is possible to develop custom acquisition, analysis and processing plugins which can enhance the functionality of ImageJ. Various aspects of image processing and other analysis such as three-dimensional live-cell imaging, radio-logical image processing, multiple imaging system data comparisons and automated hematology systems can be done by adding user written plugins.
