Media player

Media player is a set of program that is used for streaming media files. Media player is used for playing audio and video files. It plays music from any kind of players like DVD, Blu-ray, 3D blu-ray etc. It provides a simple navigation and management. There are many media players in open source for any type of platforms available.  It is written in C, C++. It is available in 48 languages and released under the license of GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1+. VLC media player plays HD recordings and has add in plugin support in Mozilla, Google Chrome, etc.
