Network boot

Network boot is the process of booting a computer from a network rather than a local drive. Network booting is the method that can be used to centralize management of disk storage so that it can result in reduced costs. It is mostly used in cluster computing. The server in the network usually broadcasts a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) request. It is installed directly from the network location with the help of DNSMASQ. DNSMASQ is a lightweight network infrastructure server which provides network services like DNS, DHCP and Network Boot using build-in DNS, DHCP and TFTP server.
