Scalpel

Scalpel is a high performance file carver designed to recover deleted data. It has three primary design requirements: Frugality, high performance, and support for distributed implementation. It reads a database of header and footer definitions and extracts matching files form a set of raw files. It is file independent and will carve files from FAT, NTFS or raw partitions.
