Screenlets

Screenlets are the widget engines (mini-applications), which are built in such a way that they run on windows manager such as compiz. The main aim of this application is to enhance the usage of Linux desktop.This application is simply a representation of virtual things found on the desktop like calculator, sticky notes, clock and calendar. Screenlets is normally written in Python, and provides an automatic saving option. It also offers easy usage and provides embedded support with drag and drop facilities.It is highly customizable and fully scalable. It supports theme features and the deployment of Google gadgets.
