WeeChat

WeeChat is an open-source internet chat client. WeeChat is light and fast chat application which is capable of running on most of the platforms and operating systems. Also, it has optional plugins, but is also extensible with additional plugins and scripts. WeeChat is considered to be complaint with multiple protocols, although mostly it makes use of the IRCs. It is lightweight and fast application.
