dstat

dstat is a Python based monitoring tool. dstat is a statistical tool that combines the iostat, vmstat, ifstat and netstat. It allows the administrator to monitor the resources in real time. It has the facility to combine a group of network devices and provide summarized reports.  It displays the interrupts for individual devices. You can additionally monitor MySQL database activity, batter percentage info for laptop, number of dbus connections, fan speed, nfs utility, postfix, system temperature sensors, power usage, etc,., more & more.
