nmon

Nmon tool (Nigel’s monitor) is a command line utility in Linux distribution, to monitor and analyze the performance of a Linux system. It provides information about the performance of network, CPU, disks, memory and file system. It also offers easy installation and works on telnet session, dumb screen or a dial-up line.The data delivered by nmon includes the CPU status, partition disk I/O status, virtual memory status, and NFS information.
