BTRFS

BTRFS stands for B-tree file system which is based on copy on write principle. BTRFS is used to resolve the corrupted file systems and provides sub-volumes for file systems. Its main objective is to provide information about lack of pooling, snapshots, checksums and integral multi device in Linux file systems. Btrfs file system is a GPL-licensed copy-on-write (COW) developed by multiple companies. In this files can be created in any characters except “/” and NULL, which has self-healing features and have the capability of spanning multiple volumes.
