The Clipboard is used to store data between applications and documents. It has three selections in clipboard namely primary, secondary and clipboard. The primary is normally used for copy/paste. The secondary is not normally used but usually as in application for specific copy and paste. The clipboard is ctrl+c and ctrl+v copy and paste. All of the copied information is stored as default in memory.
