Group-policy offers an unique feature of managing the user policies. In order to enforce group policies over non-windows platforms, centrify can be extensively used, which configures settings to every managed system and the users’ login.A collection of policy settings like value pairs and name is called the GPO (Group Policy Object). For the management of access control in AD environments, GPO settings are widely used.
