ISO

An ISO file, often referred as an ISO image, is a file of an Optical Disk. ISO is a single file which represents the complete duplicated content of CD, DVD, or BD. These files have an extension of .ISO and are mostly used for the purpose of distributing large programs through the internet, since the all the contents of the image CD can be contained in a single file.
