LAN is a computer network, which interconnects several systems within a limited area. LAN stands for Local Area Network that used for common communication inside a building or a group of buildings. The LAN server enables the users to access and share the stored files with other system through a network administrator. It can also be used as a web server for secure internal applications and an outside access. The LAN is widely used in school, laboratory, university and small firms to interconnect the systems locally.
