Raspberry Pi, which resembles a credit card, is a single board computer which was initially developed to promote basic computer science education in schools. Raspberry Pi’s main purpose during its initial days was to aid the children who learn about coding. Since Raspberry Pi outreached its intended target audience, it gained more popularity across the world. It was also used for advanced computing purposes such as robotics. A raspberry pi doesn’t involve the usage of peripherals such as keyboards, mouse etc. But some raspberry pi bundles are released with necessary accessories.Although a Raspberry Pi is slower when compared to modern laptop or desktop computers, it is still considered to be a complete Linux system which is capable of performing all the necessary functions and it has low-level power consumption.
