TimeShift

TimeShift is a tool which is used for restoring the previous state of the system. In Linux, Timeshift is a feature which is similar to System Restore utility of the Windows and Time Machine of Mac OS. It takes a backup of the file system by regularly taking snapshots of it. It maintains a regular interval between the snapshots so that in case of a system failure, it lets the user to restore the previous backed up files.
