ARM Linux is available for both desktop and server. ARM stands for Advanced RISC Machine, where RISC means reduced instruction set computing. It provides targeted kernel and software, which supports for ARM instruction sets on variety of consumer devices. The kernel is being ported to several machine including network computers, hand held devices and evaluation boards.
