In a Linux system, the antiviruses are used through the command line interface. The Linux antivirus programs are mainly focused on clearing the viruses either on same or another windows machine. It helps the users by protecting their systems from spamming, phishing, Trojans, malware and other hacking attempts. Some of the Linux based antivirus programs are Avast, Bitdefender, ClamAV, Comodo, etc. These antivirus programs scan the windows machines through a network and protect a windows virtual machine from the virtual machine.
