Document root denotes a directory or a folder which is stored on the user’s host servers which are holding the web pages. Document root denotes the location of the place where the user is currently working. It is essential for the files to be saved in the appropriate directory for a website to function properly to its users. In simple terms, the website has to be published in the correct directory.
